Episodes Will Air on District of Columbia’s District Knowledge Network and YouTube
Potomac, Md., November 17, 2021—The Workin’ It Out Podcast returns for a second season Thursday, November 18, in both video and audio format. The weekly show, hosted by Alignment Strategies’ CEO Dr. Vanessa J. Weaver, explores diversity, equity and inclusion challenges that arise at work, in communities and in our personal lives. Interviews with thought leaders provide insights, perspectives and actionable steps to effect real-life change.
“We are thrilled to expand the format of the Workin’ It Out Podcast and to reach a broader audience,” said Weaver. “With debates about critical race theory, the challenges of having five generations in the workplace and other diversity issues in the news, it’s clear there is a need for a platform to explore these topics and work toward common ground.”
This season’s episode topics include how to rise above bias and adversity in one’s career, the impact of people with disabilities in the workplace, ways to best work with colleagues from different generations, and how to leverage the power of our country’s diversity.
Video episodes will air on Thursdays at 7 pm on the District of Columbia’s District Knowledge Network. Viewers can watch the show on Channel 99 (Comcast), Channel 18 (RCN) or Channel 12 (Verizon) in Washington, D.C. and online at bit.ly/wiopodcast.
New episodes of the video podcast will also be published on the Workin’ It Out Podcast YouTube channel on Fridays at noon. An audio version of the podcast will be available at the same time at workinitoutpodcast.com and on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music, and Stitcher.
